Day 1 of our 12 Days of Vocalists goes to Bret Von Dehl

Today we start our 12 Days of Vocalists and for Day 1 we are pleased to announce Bret Von Dehl from The Relapse Symphony as our featured vocalist. Bret has this certain quality when he sings, where he can so easily transfer emotion with each and every lyric. He has a passion in his voice that shines through his music and is even more intensely highlighted in their latest acoustic release, Shadows: The Acoustic Sessions. Bret has a way of connecting to the listener as he invites them through song to join him on a musical journey that has no boundaries, no genre limits, just simply astounding music!

We had the pleasure of interviewing Bret earlier this year as we discussed his debut album release, Shadows, which is in our top list of 2014 albums. It was amazing to find out the lengths that he would go to, even singing in the dark, to create an atmosphere that would insure bringing out the best. Another extraordinary quality of Bret‘s, is his stage presence. Bret is definitely in the spotlight where he belongs as his charismatic energy grabs a hold of you as he brings a blend of punk rock attitude meshed with vintage rocker. Imagine if you would, a blend of Iggy Pop, The Ramones and Elvis, and that is the creative energy you will find with Bret. If you have not seen him perform live, make sure to get yourself to a show. Many strive to give off that rock vibe or imitate with costume or clothing, but one thing is for sure…. Bret is ROCK N ROLL, through and through.
