Scorpions release acoustic version of “Rock You Like a Hurricane” from MTV Unplugged

International legendary rockers, Scorpions recently released the CD/DVD Blue Ray of their MTV Unplugged CD/DVD package. The material is from the Scorpions‘ first-ever “MTV Unplugged show” and will feature new acoustic versions of their big hits and even five new songs! The sets were recorded and filmed on September 11th and 12th at Lycabettus Theatre in Athens, Greece. The spectacular open-air theatre, situated 300 meters above the city, was an impressive backdrop for the first-ever open-air show in the history of “MTV Unplugged” (the theatre also shares a birth year with the Scorpionsthemselves, having been built in 1965, the same year the Scorpions formed). The Scorpions is Klaus Meine (vocals/guitar), Rudolf Schenker (guitars/vocals), Matthias Jabs (guitars), Pawel Maciwoda (bass) and James Kottak (drums). Mikael Nord Andersson (guitars, mandolin, lap steel, vocals) and Martin Hansen (guitars, harmonica, vocals) are also providing additonal music support. It might have been two years since we heard from Rev Theory but their songs have continued to dominate the airwaves. It was last year when I first introduced you to the awesome band, Biters. Today they released another video and it is STELLAR!
