Time to shine the spotlight on Rearview Ghost for some killer rock n roll!

Long gone are they days of women in music being limited to pop or country. For the past decade, I have cheered on many female singers in the Metal or Rock genre and I am glad the music scene has embraced it as well.  I love it that we can now listen to music and enjoy the music, not because it was a rarity to find a female fronted band. It is all about the music these days and to celebrate these women in rock! I am so excited to tell you about another great female fronted rock band. Check out Rearview Ghost. The Agonist announce new singer Vicky Psarakis as Alissa White-Gluz joins ARCH ENEMY

Right on the heels of our last past of Alissa White-Gluz taking over as the new singer in ARCH ENEMY, we are pleased to announce Vicky Psarakis as the new singer for The Agonist. The Agonist members released the following statement after Alissa’s departure: “Today we announce that after 3 albums and countless tours we officially part ways with vocalist Alissa White-Gluz. We wish Alissa all the best with Arch Enemy and her future endeavors.   It is the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for The Agonist! ARCH ENEMY announce Alissa White-Gluz as new singer as Angela Gossow focuses on band management

ARCH ENEMY has announced Alissa White-Gluz as the new singer. You might recognize Alissa’s name, as she was the former vocalist for THE AGONIST. Angela Gossow who joined ARCH ENEMY back in 2001 announced that she will be stepping down as the vocalist and will be focusing on artist managment. Angela released the following statement: “Dear ARCH ENEMY fans, this is not easy to tell you…I have decided to step down from being ARCH ENEMY’s voice of anger. After 13 years of pure fucking metal, 6 studio albums and countless tours through five continents, I feel the need to enter a different phase in my life, be with my family and pursue other interests. Today our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band is Delta Rae. Delta Rae are an Americana folk rock sextet band that is an amazing vocal and instrument ensemble. These six ( three siblings and three friends) who come together and bring a fresh new sound to Americana. Their music can show influences of folk-pop, southern rock, country, soul-rock. You can’t just place them into a category since their music transcends the boundaries and has everyone listening and enjoying them. Spiralarms delivers another high energy performance at the Heritage Theater in Campbell

Buckcherry is currently out on tour and they made a stop in Campbell on Thursday night at the Heritage Theater.  We were excited to find out that Spiralarms was opening up for them. Spiralarms once again delivered their high energy set that had the crowd on their feet and up front to rock out!  They sounded awesome and the set went by so quick because you were just captivated by them! The Soft White Sixties is our Bottle Rock Napa 2014 Featured Band of the Day

Today we start our Bottle Rock Napa Featured Band and for today we bring you The Soft White Sixties. The Soft White Sixties from San Francisco are bringing a great soulful rock sound to the music scene that you have to take a listen to. Their style blends many of their influences from Soul, Rock and Roll, pop, R & B and have successfully fused it together in a contemporary sound. They have been gaining a lot of well deserved attention and are becoming well known for their spectacular live shows. They just completed performing 11 shows in 3 days for the SXSW 2014. I am very excited to see this band on the lineup for Bottle Rock Napa 2014. Hard Rockers Sewer from Argentina are out to prove that hard rock will never die!

  As their info on their Facebook page states, “Do you feel that good old Hard-Rock is in decay? Well, it’s NOT!! Here we are to change that! As long as Sewer continues writing music, Hard-Rock will never die!”  Sewer from Argentina is the hard rock band that is out there to show the world that they are here to keep the hard rock scene alive. Sewer started in 2012 in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina after singer  Rafael Abad Ronzon was inspired by Axl Rose and the famous musical “Rock of Ages” and it’s star Stacee Jaxx. Also in Sewer is Leandro Artaza on Drums, Nico “el Maio” Maiola on Bajo/Bass, Lucas Ogallar on Guitar/Backing Vocals, and Matías Sewer on Guitar.
