Guitar Legend NEAL SCHÖN releases new video for “What You Want” from new album with Marco Mendoza and Deen Castronovo

Guitar Legend Neal Schön best known as co-founding member and lead guitarist of Journey has teamed up with bassist Marco Mendoza (Black Star Riders, Ted Nugent, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and drummer Deen Castronovo (Journey, Ozzy Osbourne, Steve Vai, Hardline). Together they are set to release their forthcoming album “SO U” on May 19th through Frontier Records. Canadian country rocker Marshall Dane hits No. 1 on Roots Music Report for Pop Country Album

We want to congratulate Canadian country rocker Marshall Dane on his album One of These Days topping at number one on the Roots Music Report for Pop Country Album! The album was directed by Dan Brodbeck and has been gaining a lot of attention. Other artists in the top 5 include Hunter Hayes, Luke Bryan, The Band Perry and Eric Paslay. The album is nominated for Album of the Year at the 2014 Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) Awards. Marshall currently has his single Alcohol Abuse at #2 on the Pop Country Singles chart, behind Luke Bryan’s “Play It Again.” The song, written by Kim Williams and Billy Yates, comes in ahead of releases by Hayes, Paslay, Big and Rich and David Nail, among others. The Agonist release new video and song with new singer Vicky Psarakis

Montreal’s death metal group, The Agonist have been busy making great new music with their new singer Vicky Psarakis. Vicky Psrakis joined the band when Alissa White-Gluz announced that she was taking over as the new singer in Arch Enemy. The Agonist release a new video which features the first video interview with new singer, Vicky Psarakis, as well as an intimate look at the rest of the band members and snippets of songs coming off their new single, Disconnect Me. Dave Mason premieres new version of Dear Mr. Fantasy from forthcoming new album

The iconic singer/songwriter/guitarist Dave Mason, the co-founding member of Traffic has premiered a new version of Traffic’s song Dear Mr. Fantasy. The song is off the rock and roll hall of fame inductee’s forthcoming new album, Future’s Past which features new versions of some of his classic songs plus new material is set for a May 13th Release on Something Music/MRI. The “A Love Like Tour” with All Time Low, Man Overboard and Handguns came through Sacramento this week. It was a Tuesday night and it was completely sold out, as with many other stops, it has been sold out for months. It was a Pop Punk Invasion like no other. We got there just in time to catch Handguns hit the stage. They were incredible as they led the crowd into high energy sing alongs to fast paced power punk tunes. One thing is for sure, this band is not short on energy as they delivered a 150% at all times. The Swellers release “B-Side and Rarities” a collection of unreleased music

Pop Punk band The Swellers from Los Angeles have announced the release of a special collection of unreleased music which have been collected over their decade long career. The record is called B-Sides and Rarities and includes some early versions of songs fans have come to love, some are really rough versions that never left the studio. Heavy Metal band Bombus from Gothenburg, Sweden are kicking off their first U.S. Tour this week as they spread their punk energy infused heavy metal to the masses.
