Rick Springfield had all the ladies under his Human Touch at Thunder Valley

June 9, 2014

If the temperature wasn’t hot enough on Saturday night at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort Summer Concert Series, Rick Springfield was there to take it a few degrees hotter! He is one H-O-T performer and had all the ladies under his spell.  Rick Springfield has always been one of my personal favorites. Yes, I will admit I had a huge crush on him as Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital and even more so when he soon became a pop rock icon. I had his posters from Tiger Beat and Circus Magazine all over my walls. The night was awesome and filled with great music. First we had Eddie Money and next up was Loverboy. Then for the final set, Rick came out and took over the crowd with his magnetic charm. He literally had all the ladies screaming and acting like teenage girls! It was a wild time.  Rick even did an amazing cover of Katy Perry’s ROAR that had the crowd in a frenzy as they applauded. Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan of the [Read More]

Loverboy delivered a hit filled set for the Thunder Valley Summer Concert Series

June 9, 2014

Saturday night, we were baking in the sun as we headed to Thunder Valley Casino Resort for the first of their Summer Concert Series. The lineup started with an awesome set by Eddie Money, and finished with Rick Springfield.  Right smack in the middle was the hit filled set by one of my favorite 80’s bands, Loverboy. One thing is for sure, these guys definitely still “have it” as they treated the crowd to an energetic set and had everyone singing along to their favorite songs. The crowd was filled to capacity and everyone was up out of their seats dancing and having a great time. This was one of the most energetic crowds I have seen in a long time. With the successful lineup of the night, there was non stop entertainment and smiles across the audience. Thunder Valley really knows how to kick off the season with a full on party! Check out the photos by our Rockin Ryan of Loverboy‘s set here: I forgot how many great songs Loverboy had. I know that [Read More]

Eddie Money kicks off the Thunder Valley Summer Concert Series with a Shakin’ good time

June 9, 2014

Summer is finally here and one thing is for sure, we love all the summer concert series. Just this past Saturday, we headed up to the Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, CA to cover their first summer show featuring Eddie Money, Loverboy and Rick Springfield. We will featuring all these bands but wanted to start it off right with the awesome set by the Eddie Money Band. Temperatures hit in the 100’s Friday and it was definitely one of the most sweltering afternoons. That didn’t stop the energy that Eddie Money and his band gave to everyone that night. They took to the stage at 6:30 and it was in the high 90’s and there was not an empty seat in the house. They kicked off the set with the crowd favorite, Baby Hold On To Me. What was awesome was that everyone in the crowd, forgot about the sweltering heat and was on their feet dancing and singing along. It was one of the most energetic audiences I have seen in a long [Read More]
