Concert review – Asking Alexandria w. Secrets, Crown The Empire and The Ghost Inside, Contributed by Alexandra Munich, Tonhalle, October 17th, 2014 Shortly before doors opened at 6pm there was already a long queue around the corner that soon started moving. The show was sold out, so some people were on the lookout for tickets without any luck though it seems. The first band, Secrets, entered the stage at exactly 7pm. It was their second time in Germany. They opened up and seemed to have an immediate impact on the audience. They later sold many CD’s in the merch booth which speaks for itself. Second on were Crown The Empire. It was their first time in Germany and I’m pretty confident not their last. Their set started with the opening tunes of their latest album ‚The resistance‘. They played mostly songs from that album, like Machines, Bloodline and Initiation. For the song ‚Rise of the Runaways‘ Brian Escamilla, second man on vocals, also picked up a guitar. Sick Puppies announce departure of Shimon Moore and are working on new material

I hate bittersweet news like this. First, I had heard a bit about how Sick Puppies were working on new music and have been waiting for a confirmation. Today, it was confirmed that Sick Puppies are working on new material but sadly at the same time, they have announced the departure of guitarist/vocalist, founding member, Shimon Moore. Sick Puppies released the following statement via their Facebook page: Official Statement: Sick Puppies are undergoing some exciting changes and evolving. Former member Shimon Moore is no longer with the band and is pursuing other endeavors. We are currently in the studio writing material for our upcoming studio album while auditioning new singers. Heart of a Coward release music video for Distance

Are you ready to take a bit heavier tonight? Well, here you go! Check out this great new music video by Heart of a Coward for their song, Distance. The song features a guest appearance of SIKTH vocalist Justin Hill and it does a great job of bringing their melodic vocals fused with their heavy sound. It is a fierce track that will fuel you with adrenaline. Seasons After have returned with their first commercial release in four years. Their album, Calamity, Scars and Memoirs features Tony Housh (vocals), Chris Dawson (guitar), Jim Beattie (lead guitar), Tim Rails (drums) and Jesse Saint (bass). This album features the strongest work to date for this band, truly exhibiting how they have grown, strengthened and evolved musically and personally. In This Moment release video for Sick Like Me and catch them out on tour!

  In This Moment have released their music video for their new song, Sick Like Me. The video was directed by Maria Brink and Robert Kley. The song is the first single off the band’s upcoming album, Black Widow, out November 17th. The band will embark on the “Black Widow Tour,” kicking off with a performance at Knotfest this Saturday.
