February 3, 2015

We are back at it with another great band to feature on our Tuesdays Travels. We travel the world in search of great new music and today we wanted to introduce you to the spectacular music of One-Way Mirror. All the way from France, these guys are kicking ass delivering a straight up heavy dose of hard rock blended with metal and industrial. With their energetic signature sound, they are one of the biggest rock bands to come out of France. They have recently released their brand new album, Capture through Pavement last month and it has been garnering a lot of great attention. They have also released a music video for their song, Stinkin’ of Gold. The song completely is bad ass as it delivers  a heavy rock sound with fierce guitars, powerful vocals that will get the adrenaline flowing in your veins. Check it out here: You can pick up their new album which is available on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/capture/.  We will see if we can bring you an interview with One-Way Mirror as [Read More]

The Glorious Sons are our Band of the Day

February 3, 2015

Today’s Band of the Day goes to the fast rising rock band The Glorious Sons from Ontario, Canada. They are a fairly new band as they came on to the scene in 2013 but have already made quite an impression with their infectious rock that has been climbing the charts. They recently released their album The Union back in September 2014 and have had great success of three singles hitting the airwaves. I love their energetic vibe and their songs completely rock as they bring to life stories from the blue collar perspective. They so easily create a connection with the listener through songs that will soon become the playlist of your life. They deliver pure straight up rock and roll that you can feel in your soul. The Glorious Sons are: Brett Emmons – Vocalist Jay Emmons – Guitar Andrew Young – Guitar Adam Paquette – Drums Chris Huot  – Bass   Genre:  Rock n Roll Location: Kingston, Ontario, CANADA Feature: Timeless rock n roll with dynamic vocals, classic storytelling rock songs which is something [Read More]

Concert Review: Crown The Empire at Backstage Halle in Munich contributed by Alexandra

February 2, 2015

Concert Review Munich, Backstage, Halle, Febr. 1st, 2015 Alive Like Me / Dangerkids / Set It Off / Crown The Empire   Contributed by Alexandra We currently have tons of snow in Southern Germany, so it was more sliding than driving to the show, but I could make it on time anyway. I was even lucky to get a parking space in front of the venue, although the snow doesn’t make the parking situation any better. Luckily there was only that one concert yesterday. The Backstage itself consists of three clubs with different sizes. The Halle is size-wise the middle one. Not to get ahead of things, but it was a killer evening. All four bands fit perfectly as a line-up. There were no flaws, no boring breaks, not one song the audience wasn’t into. Absolutely nothing negative to say on my parts, except that it ended somewhat around 11pm…but all good things have to end, right…. Doors opened at approx. 6.30 pm. Show start was set for 7.00 pm. First on were Alive Like [Read More]

February 2, 2015

One of my favorite bands Black Oxygen have released a cinematic music video for their song, As Time Ticks By. It is not only one of my favorite tracks off their album, Beating Time but the video is a stellar production that takes you back to the Old West as a ghost town comes to life. Check out the video here:   The song is off their latest released album, “Beating Time” which you can pick up on iTunes here.  These guys fuckin Rock! They have well written songs, executed with captivating vocals, smoking guitar solos, precision drumming, and powerful bass lines.
