RED’s new release Of Beauty and Grace is an exceptional work of art

February 24, 2015

Today is the release date of RED’s new album, Of Beauty and Grace and it really is one amazing work of art. Their music brings such imagery to life and each song creates a new scene for you to delve into. The levels of intensity and passion are raised with this album and you can’t help feel a deep connection with each song. Vocalist Michael explains about the album and what it is about, “about suffering and finding the beauty in that. No one in this world likes to suffer, myself included, but we only become the strong individuals we are today from the trials and hardships we faced in the past. I remember meeting a teenager on Winter Jam 2013 who had terminal cancer. He wanted to meet us because we were his favorite band. In a sense, you might consider this a tragedy since his life was going to be taken away from him at such an early age. What I saw was beauty in the way that he handled his illness. The teen was [Read More]

Miggs will have you reminiscing about that one break up that defines you

February 24, 2015

Miggs have hit it out the park with their new song, Moving On which is the second of their B-side tracks.  The emotionally driven pop rock style song takes you on a storytelling journey through a break up, but in no way is another sad breakup song. Instead, it is infectiously catchy, rich with raw emotional vocals and a melody that will remain long after the song.  It reminds me of another infamous “breakup” song Missing You by John Waite. It completely grabs a hold of you as it nestles into your memory bank and you can relate to that one break up where it was more than moving out, it was Moving On. It is delicious in lyrics and I really love this track and I hope you do too! You can pick up the song as a Free Download by visiting here: http://t.co/QMvmpySOfg Make sure you also pick up their incredible beautiful track, Heart of the Unknown which is available on iTunes here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/heart-of-the-unknown-single/. His album, Little Brother Is Watching  is out now and is definitely one to pick up. The album features Bumblefoot’s extraordinary guitar playing but also his passionate vocals that create such a connection with the listener. We had the chance to talk with Bumblefoot earlier this month and you can check out our interview here: The album is an eccentric, upbeat collection of modern epic rock with haunting melodies, huge choruses and witty lyrics about life in the digital age and beyond. Specifically, his own life and coming to terms with what we all face – beginnings, endings, and moving on. The album was composed, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Bumblefoot at his studio in New Jersey, and also features drummer Dennis Leeflang and a crowd of 100 fans stomping, chanting and singing backing vocals recorded at a listening party in New York.  Head over to iTunes here and pick up the new album! Crazytown’s new single Megatron definitely has us excited for the new album

February 24, 2015

The new single, Megatron from Crazytown has us completely excited for their new album. Crazytown features founding members Bret Mazur (aka Epic) and Seth Binzer (Shifty) and they are set to release a new album, The Brimstone Sluggers which will stylistically be a follow up to their platinum debut, The Gift of Game, which featured the #1 single Butterfly. Megaton is about second chances, and grabbing a hold of your life before it passes you by. The song also features a brand new artist, Boondocks – a Marine Corps vet that reached out to Seth on Instagram. Moved by his talent and energy, Bret and Seth invited Boondocks to join them in the studio. “Boondocks was a huge fan and we thought he was really dope as an artist,” Bret says. “Seth and I brought him to the studio to help him with his little project and we ended up doing a song together for our record. It was only after getting to know him and spending time with him that he told us about his honorable service [Read More]
