Hellyeah bring the Blood For Blood tour to the Ace of Spades

February 9, 2015

Last night we made it to the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for the Hellyeah Blood For Blood Tour. We arrived early to the venue and even at a couple hours before the door opening, the line was beginning to wrap around the street. It was definitely going to be a packed house. We made it inside and caught the last couple songs of Archer who we hope to get a chance to see again.  Then after, Like A Storm and Devour the Day delivered kick ass sets. The crowd was highly anticipating the arrival of Hellyeah and the energy intensified in the venue to new heights as the lights dimmed and they hit the stage. The crowd went wild with screams as Vinnie Paul took his place at his throne ready to takeover Sacramento and have us all in awe of his phenomenal playing! One thing is for sure, from the second they hit the stage, you can’t help but get adrenalized with their high velocity performance. Frontman Chad had the crowd under his [Read More]

Like A Storm take over the Ace of Spades on the Blood for Blood Tour

February 9, 2015

Last night we were at the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for the Hellyeah Blood For Blood Tour. With the crowd arriving early and wrapping around the block a couple hours before doors opening, gave us all the indication we were in for a packed house. We arrived and caught a couple songs of Archer who warmed up the crowd and then Like A Storm came out and once again delivered a 150% with their performance. We have been seeing them perform since they first toured the states with Alter Bridge back in 2010/2011 and they are just as impressive as that first time they blew us away. It was awesome to see so many Like A Storm shirts in the crowd and how so many were singing along to and knew all the words. We had the chance to chat with bassist, Kent Brooks earlier before the show and we will be bringing you that interview later this week. We got to talk about this tour and how you can get yourself a VIP [Read More]

Interview with September Mourning at NAMM 2015

February 9, 2015

We had the pleasure of chatting with alternative dark hard rockers, September Mourning at NAMM 2015. We met up at Blackstar Amplification booth and are pleased to bring the interview to you here: In case you haven’t already seen it, check out their video for their powerful new single, Children Of Fate. It is like a heavy dose of cinematic hard rock that captures your attention. The vocals of September are passionate and soaring as she takes you through melodic bliss. The song has a powerful message as well, vocalist September explains, Children of Fate is a call to arms for every person who has felt helpless, hopeless or worthless…a battle cry against the negativity we are surrounded by everyday. It is a song about the strength of knowing it’s not just you, alone, verses the world, it is all of us together verses whatever stands in our way. Musically, It is the first chapter in the story of September Mourning. Check it out here: September Mourning is: September – Vocals Shadou – Bass Riven -Guitar Wraith – [Read More]
