The Massive Addictive tour delivered an epic set in San Francisco with Amaranthe, I Prevail and Santa Cruz

June 6, 2015

This week has been filled with amazing concerts. I want to tell you about the Massive Addictive Tour by Amaranthe with guests I Prevail and Santa Cruz. The tour wrapped up this past week in Los Angeles  and we were able to catch them the night before at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. What an epic night it was! First, the lineup was diverse bringing out everything from melodic metal, post hardcore to straight up rock n roll! We had the opportunity to talk with all three bands and will be bringing you interviews with each of them. We were excited to see Santa Cruz as they opened the show. They have been one of our featured bands that is determined on bringing Rock back to the forefront of the music scene. They were incredible as Johnny was a madman on the guitar, Middy was raging on the bass, and Taz was fiercely delivering a punch of precision on the drums. Then of course you are blown away by the powerful vocals of Archie [Read More]

Last Stop on Pop Evil’s US Onyx Tour & Star Treatments Charity. Contributed by Tara Lilly Williams

June 6, 2015

To celebrate the end of the US “Onyx” tour we caught up with Matt DiRito & Pop Evil at The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan. The band wanted to play the last show in their home state before heading overseas. They wanted to give their incredible fans a special treat by playing their 1st single, “Footsteps” off of their upcoming album “Up” for the first time. Leigh thanked fans for traveling from all over the US & Canada to celebrate their last show. Their fans are a rare bunch traveling with the band to many shows. Connie Malone and her 76 year old mother Ann made the trip all the way from Texas. Terri Wollovetz said that she had been to over 20 of their shows. The fans stood in line wearing ponchos for several hours of heavy rain just to hear them play. Melissa Brown from Kentucky & her friend Camille Mathis rocked their ponchos in line outside the venue for four hours in the rain. Melissa said, “I would stand outside in the [Read More]

YouTube star Jessica Domingo releases EP “Masterpiece” with more to come. By Patrick O’Heffernan

June 6, 2015

YouTube has been a pathway for success for growing numbers of artists, especially musical artists. New bands and singer/songwriters can build fan bases of thousands without recording a single album or EP or even appearing live anywhere but in their bedrooms. Word of mouth and viral social media do the work of  radio spins and PR agents and magazines. Some artists pursue this option very deliberately, executing a video strategy with planned precision. This is not the case for the YouTube phenomenon, Jessica Domingo.   Singing and performing since she was 12 and playing the piano since she was 4, Seattle-based Domingo posted her versions of cover songs on YouTube because she wanted to share her music with friends and it was fun – a way to do what she loved. She was blown away when her cover of Frank Ocean’s “Thinking About You” pulled in over 2 million YouTube views and other covers pulled in 10’s and 100’s of thousands of views  — all while she was a sophomore in  high school.  It didn’t [Read More]

Sleeptalk premieres new music video for their song Sea Of Fire

June 3, 2015

Space rock quintet Sleeptalk have just released a new music video for their song “Sea Of Fire”.  The infectious new song is off their debut EP Pure and the video was shot by Strange Productions. It is a great video that captures true moments of growing up. Vocalist Anthony Fitzpatrick comments, “‘Sea Of Fire’ is a love song. It is inspired by true life events that have happened to myself, friends, and family. The video is inspired by my love for a film called Palo Alto, the story of 4 teenagers trying to find their way through high school and trying to figure themselves out while dealing with partying, drunks, drinking, relationships, and growing up. ‘Sea Of Fire’ is a play on those feelings and temptations.” Check out the new video here: You can pick up the band’s debut EP Pure on iTunes. Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news. ~ Marisol Information & Links: Website: http://www.slptvlk.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/SLPTVLK Twitter: https://twitter.com/SLPTVLK
