Northlane tearing the Backstage down along with The Acacia Strain and Hellions

October 20, 2015

Munich, October 17th, 2015   Last weekend Northlane made a stop in Munich during their European Tour with Volumes, The Acacia Strain and Hellions. Volumes had to cancel their set that night due to medical issues. The night started off with the Sydney based band Hellions, followed by The Acacia Strain, a band from Boston, MA. When the headliner Northlane entered the stage, the room was already heated like a sauna. Throughout all three sets there was a constant coming and going on stage. Almost permanently fans were trying to enter the stage, dancing and rocking along with the band, some even taking selfies on stage, just to jump back into the crowd. The audience was really rocking hard to the heavy sound of all three bands, simply enjoying life. From a photographers point of view catastrophic, with so many people kicking around while struggling to get on stage, just to jump down a few moments later. The humidity in the room was so high, that I had to clean the fog from my lense [Read More]

October 20, 2015

For Day 92 on our Countdown to NAMM, we wanted to bring you our interview with the bad ass French rockers, BlackRain. NAMM brings musicians, retailers, and manufacturers from all over the world and it was definitely a highlight when we ran into BlackRian at NAMM 2015. Check out our quick chat with BlackRain: It was great to talk with them and we really look forward to their new album, Released which can be pre-ordered on their PledgeMusic page here http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/blackrain. You can check out their new song, Back In Town which is off the new album. The first time I heard BlackRain is when my son Rockin Ryan played Overloaded for me and I was instantly transformed back to my nights spent on the Sunset Strip in the ’80s. At first I thought I was listening to an old Motley Crue track!! Swan on vocals just blows you away with his powerful voice and he has perfected the high vocal ranges of the ’80s. They have some shredding guitar with off the hook riffs. This band brings [Read More]

HALESTORM delivers stellar TWO SETS ALL ROCK at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco!

October 20, 2015

Last night was incredible as Halestorm returned to San Francisco for their rescheduled summer date. It was an evening with Halestorm that included two sets all rock for A Wild Evening With Halestorm presented by Jagermeister. The night kicked off with an acoustic set that was anything but soft. It was a rockin acoustic set that got the crowd fired up which is typically hard to do for acoustic. They were singing along, dancing around with abundant energy. One of the highlights of the acoustic set was to hear Lzzy Hale dedicate her cover of Girl Crush (Little Big Town) to Chasta from 107.7 The Bone, the Bay Area’s Best Radio ROCK station! Chasta and Baby Huey recently interviewed Lzzy Hale and you can check the interview below:   The night then continued on with a full on rock set and Halestorm completely blew the roof off The Regency Ballroom. The crowd was intense as you could hear everyone singing along and rocking it out the fan favorites as well as new songs from Into [Read More]

Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators deliver another epic performance in San Francisco

October 20, 2015

SLASH featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators delivered another epic performance in San Francisco last night at The Warfield Theater. We are coming to the tail end of the US dates for their World on Fire tour and with the performance last night, there is no slowing down for in site for these rockers. They came and gave 150% to a packed venue. The night kicked off with a fiercely energetic set by fuzz rockers, RavenEye from the UK. This trio was never short on big sound and the crowd went wild for them. We look forward to catching them this weekend at Aftershock Festival. The crowd soon grew to near capacity as Slash ft. Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators took to the stage.  The adrenaline in the venue was running wild as they started with my fave track, You’re A  Lie.  They sounded incredible from start to finish and put in an astounding 20 song set! Not to mention the epic Slash solo in a record 20 minute long Rocked Queen. The crowd had to [Read More]
