Leslie West presents Dean Mississippi Guitar to Longtime fan Paul Allen

In the music news: On Thursday evening at BB Kings in New York City, Leslie West welcomed long-time fan and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. Pictured below are West and Allen, shortly after the guitarist presented one of his signature model guitars to the historical figure. On November 20, Leslie West will release Soundcheck via Provogue / Mascot Label Group, his latest studio recording which features appearances from Jack Bruce, Brian May, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Bramlett, Max Middleton and others. West will celebrate his 70th birthday on October 22. We are very excited for the new album which features West joined by Jack Bruce, Brian May, Peter Frampton, Bonnie Bramlett, Max Middleton and others. This album will definitely be one to treasure. Memories in Broken Glass release lyric video

Texas based progressive ambient metal band, Memories In Broken Glass have released a new lyric video for their song Aether. The new song can be picked up on their Bandcamp page. Vocalist Saul Castillo comments about the song, Aether is a journey of one’s inner self through a series of scenes interpreted as a visual flight through a storm. With this concept I wanted to take a certain lyrical approach that a listener or reader could easily connect with and understand yet leave a certain mystery, not towards the song it self but towards the listener’s own perspective of their lives. Details: On October 24 and 25, Capitol Studios & Mastering, Capitol Records, Caroline, and Harvest Records will host WAX, the first-ever music industry event to focus on vinyl, music goods and record collecting culture on the lot of the iconic Capitol Records building. Buckcherry returns to sold out crowd at Ace of Spades in Sacramento!

The Ace of Spades was truly the place to be for a ROCK show on Friday night. Buckcherry returned to Sacramento to a sold out show at the Ace of Spades. This time they brought two incredible bands with them, Trust Divided and Sons of Texas. Both bands kicked ass and got the crowd fueled up for Buckcherry.
