Station release music video for One and Only

May 19, 2016

Station have just released their new music video for their bad ass track, One and Only. The music video was directed by Adam Gendler and features  Jennifer Leah Gottlieb of That Metal Show! Check it out here: Chris Lane comments about One and Only in his Track by Track guide of their debut album, Pat and I wrote this song one night around me saying “oh oh” over and over. Part of me thinks he said, “lets work on that” just to shut me up. When we wrote it, we immediately saw a way to work this into our set to add a different feel. Pat immediately came up with this feel on the drums that was very different than any of our other songs. We brought it to rehearsal and had such a great time with it. One of the things we really enjoy about this song is that we can use it to really take our time on stage. We can jam on it, play with the crowd or just play it straight. It’s [Read More]

The Last Internationale kick off West Coast tour with a fierce set in San Francisco

May 19, 2016

Earlier this week, The Last Internationale have just kicked off their West Coast Tour and they blew the roof off the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. The night started off with a great set by Citabria out of San Jose. We were glad to get there early and check out these guys as they unleashed a dose of fresh alternative rock. Next up was Dig The Kid as they return to the Bay Area for the first time in over a year. They played fan favorites as well as several new songs including an acoustic version of Still Breathing. The Last Internationale hit the stage and the energy went through the roof. These three deliver a whopping punch of adrenaline when they perform and it is easily reciprocated as it quickly travels through the crowd. With their signature blend of unapologetic punk-folk-blues you are captivated not only by their music, but by the passion that fuels them. You can’t help but “feel” when they perform. It is amazing and it something that I highly recommend you [Read More]

Watch the new lyric video from State Line Empire for We All Float

May 18, 2016

State Line Empire have just released a lyric video for their track, We All Float which is off their new EP, Tres Leches. State Line Empire truly brings back the raw honest way rock should be made, through analog and letting the music speak for itself. The song We All Float was a special one for them as Cat told us in a recent interview, Music Junkie Press: Now is there a certain song on the EP that really is more personal for you? Cat: Ya, I think so. All the songs are great. The one that I think, and I think this is unanimous, the one that really holds the most weight for us, is this new song called We All Float. Music Junkie Press: and why is that so special? Did you guys work on that song collaboratively. Cat: Ya, We did. And the band itself and it’s sound, has been evolving a lot over the last year.
