Earlier this week, The Last Internationale have just kicked off their West Coast Tour and they blew the roof off the DNA Lounge in San Francisco. The night started off with a great set by Citabria out of San Jose. We were glad to get there early and check out these guys as they unleashed a dose of fresh alternative rock.

Next up was Dig The Kid as they return to the Bay Area for the first time in over a year. They played fan favorites as well as several new songs including an acoustic version of Still Breathing.

The Last Internationale hit the stage and the energy went through the roof. These three deliver a whopping punch of adrenaline when they perform and it is easily reciprocated as it quickly travels through the crowd. With their signature blend of unapologetic punk-folk-blues you are captivated not only by their music, but by the passion that fuels them. You can’t help but “feel” when they perform. It is amazing and it something that I highly recommend you catch when they are playing anywhere remotely near you. Walk, drive, fly.. Do whatever you have to, to catch their high energy performance. In addition to the highlights of 1968, Wanted Man, Fire, Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Indian Blood, among others, was the amazing raw honest emotion that comes out through Delila’s acoustic performance of I’m Gonna Live the Life I Sing About in My Song. Edgey on guitar is a madman and you are in serious awe of his playing as he feels each note he performs.
