The Last Dinner Party dazzles the sold out audience in San Francisco

Since attending their sold out inaugeral California performance last November at the El Rey Theater, we have been counting the days until we could see The Last Dinner Party. They had left such an indelible impression on us with their night of ecstatic revelry that we had it ranking as Our Favorite Concert! You can check out photos from that show here:

Well we went to see them this past Tuesday, April 16th and they did it again. They have returned to give us the best concert experience.  They came to play at the intimate Bimbo’s 365 in San Francisco.  We arrived to the venue and the line quickly wrapped out around the block. The sold out show brought out music lovers of all ages and it was awesome to see many had dressed up for the occasion.

The night kicked off with a set by Miss Grit which got the crowd ready for The Last Dinner Party to hit the stage.

After her set the air was charged with anticipation. As the band hit the stage, a surge of adrenaline swept through the audience and they started right off with Burn Alive. They immediately captured the attention of everyone in the room as the crowd was a sea of movement, with bodies swaying, hands waiving and voices singing along.  There was a sense of euphoria in the air, with smiles everywhere and a collective sense of jubilation.

Check out the photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan:

The concert was like a runaway train of excitement, gaining momentum with every song. You could feel the passion and dedication of both the band and the audience, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of pure delightful energy. Their setlist included a couple very special treats; their new song Second Best which blew us away, and a cover of Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game which had us in awe.   Check out a video of Wicked Game below:
