JACKYL set to release 8th studio album, ROWYCO in August

Get ready! JACKYL is set to release their 8th studio album this August. Their new album titled ROWYCO (The album cover will give you the hint for what it stands for!) will be released on August 5th via Mighty Loud Records. Lead singer Jesse James Dupree comments, “This will be an exciting year. With the album’s release timing perfectly with the grand opening of the Full Throttle Saloon, in Sturgis, South Dakota. The original location burned to the ground last year AND they are building back bigger and better than ever.”  The Full Throttle Saloon enjoyed a 6 year run of a hit reality television show of the same name, which documented owner Michael Ballard and Jesse’s struggles to get the bar up, running and profitable during the world’s largest motorcycle rally.   BottleRock Napa 2016 had an endless supply of amazing musicians on four stages.  Sunday the day kicked with a fierce set by The Helmets. The young group or rockers which include Tye Trujillo on bass,  (11, son of Robert Trujillo of Metallica), Bastian Evans (11) on Guitar, Kai Neukermans (11), drums, and Bryan Ferretti (12) vocals. They took over the Main Stage and got the energy rushing through the crowd. Check out the photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: They really had incredible energy and put on a bad ass show. Burn Halo announce new tour dates and welcome new lead singer

  Burn Halo are ready to hit the road again for Wolves of War Tour. This time they will be heading out with a new lead singer. Today they announced their new lead singer, T.J. Chopelas on their Facebook Page: After many tough conversations and careful consideration, we have decided to move forward without our frontman James Hart. As a band, we want to continue to tour and make albums on a full time basis. Where James is at in his life and career, he was no longer able to make the same commitment the rest of us were willing to make. LIVE 105 BFD 2016 delivers four stages of nonstop music!

  LIVE105 KITS San Francisco has once again delivered a successful BFD! This past weekend the Saturday festival featured over 30 artists among four stages. There was non-stop music as the fans braved the heat and danced all day.  The Soundcheck Local Band Stage was actually a favorite of ours as these local bands delivered phenomenal sets! They definitely had us take notice of all of them and we look forward to featuring all of them on Music Junkie Press. The Bud Light Subsonic Tent was definitely a nonstop party as it had the crowd dancing from start to finish with DJ sets and bands. We were excited to catch Blaqk Audio and Davey Havok blew us away with his stage presence.  Another highlight was Bishop Briggs who truly had the crowd energized. The Bud Light Festival Stages featured side by side stages that allowed for continuous bands performing without a break.
