Haley Reinhart delivers a magical evening at Great American Music Hall

June 5, 2016

The young talented singer songwriter, Haley Reinhart, former American Idol finalist performed last night at the Great American Music Hall. This was the second night on her tour and she delivered a magical evening. Her voice filled with the historic and grandest nightclub in San Francisco.  With ornate balconies, high ceiling, ambient lighting, it was the perfect setting for the rich vocals of Haley. She truly connects with her audience as her powerful vocals bring out a depth of emotion and her carefree funky spirit to life. It was musical bliss in action. Check out some photos of her set by our Rockin Ryan:   Haley recently released her full length album, Listen Up! and you can check out the video for her track Better, which is off the new album: The tour continues on to Los Angeles and across the country. Diamante Electrico. Conquering the US because they Just. Play. Music. Together.

June 3, 2016

The three members of the Columbian indie rock band Diamante Electrico slid into a leather booth at LA’s venerable mid-town rock club The Mint and said they were here to conquer the American music market.  They had just wrapped up a mic check and the sound engineer told them they could kick back after they take photos of their settings and connections.  The trio had previously spent the afternoon at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Beverly hills rehearsing and they were ready to lean back and talk. This was their second visit to Los Angeles. Their first was at the Cultures Collide event last year where they played to a jam-packed crowd in a small bar in a Silver Lake restaurant. No matter. Whether it is a lounge in Silverlake, the Mint in West LA or Bogota’s El Campin stadium before 40,000 people as special guests of the Foo Fighters, they live up to their name – “electric dynamite”. The trio – Juan Galeano, Daniel Álvarez  and  Andee Zeta – knew exactly why they [Read More]

Pop Punk band Something More premieres new song, Distance & Space

June 2, 2016

Pop Punk band Something More is gearing up for the June 10th release of their upcoming EP, Dogs via Common Ground Records. They are premiering their new song, Distance & Space. Guitarist Nate Swartz comments about the song, “Distance & Space is a feel good, upbeat song promoting change and not being afraid of what the future holds,” shares guitarist Nate Swartz of Something More. “On the surface, it’s about seeing someone after you’ve ended your relationship with them and realizing that it doesn’t mean you can’t have a new relationship with that person. The idea of accepting and embracing change, and having a positive attitude toward it, is the best way to make sure things work out, even if they are different. A lot of people struggle with change, ourselves included, and this song is a reminder that things get better.” Take a listen to Distance & Space here: You can also check out a video for their first single, Talk In Circles here: The new EP is now available to pre-order on iTunes, which [Read More]
