Check out the new track Dropped from psych rockers The Fem Doms

June 14, 2016

Psych rockers The Fem Doms have just released an infectiously groove-laden track, Dropped which is off their upcoming EP Attic.  Check out the track here: “Dropped” details the unfortunate situation of losing friends to drugs, and watching from afar as they descend into their demons. The Fem Doms are gearing up to drop the brand new EP this Summer and another full-length album in the Fall. The band are in the works of planning another tour this Summer. A Note Two Self gave them some love, saying “Chris’s vocals are reminiscent of Robert Plant.” The Fem Doms will be celebrating the release of their latest EP Attic with a slew of shows.  The Fem Doms are Chris Carrigan (guitar/vocals), Luke Kelly (guitar/vocals), Evan O’Neal (guitar), Mem Pahl (bass/vocals), Brendan Galvin (drums) and Maya Renfro (synth/vocals). Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news. Back Garden Light release their debut EP – On European tour now. Contributed by Alex Bock

June 14, 2016

Back Garden Light, a band from France, that we recently introduced to you, released their debut EP called ‘Life’s A Game’ on June 10th. We checked it out for you. The EP starts off with a powerful intro that invites the listener to hold on tight as Back Garden Light takes them on a wild ride. The six song EP brings high energy tracks that blend pop punk with a heavier side of Metalcore. You are treated with infectious melodies that will have you singing along and the double bass will get your blood pumping. Offensive is a spotlight track as it brings a heavy vibe to the forefront. Their music can be described as a blend of Asking Alexandria meets Falling in Reverse, yet they have easily created their own signature style. Sideline is an upbeat track that highlights everything from vocal chants, heavy growls, aggressive guitar chugs, and everything for you to become addicted to the track. The EP can be ordered at http://backgardenlight.bigcartel.com/product/bgl-life-s-a-game-bundle-limited-30 But better be quick, because this is a limited [Read More]
