Gwen Stefani made a stop in Mountain View this past weekend for her This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour. The Shoreline Amphitheater was packed as her dedicated fans arrived early in anticipation of a great night. Of course, Gwen didn’t disappoint as she delivered a flawless set for Mountain View. Gwen has been busy out on this tour in support of her highly praised solo album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. The album brings to life her emotions in an energetic pop, electronic, alt-rock journey. Her set also included several No Doubt track which brought loud cheers and screams to the audience. (Los Angeles) I cannot get enough of the Los Damn Ramblers’ just released album, Vámonos Vámonos, and not only because I am a rock and roller of a certain age. This music is in the blood of everyone who has ever dropped a needle, ripped a cut or streamed a song. It is embedded in our musical neural pathways and Los Damn Ramblers found the nerve. According to legend, the album was born one night when two Latin-American musician friends were hanging out at a local joint sharing beers and laughs, got up and played a couple of Elvis, Cash, and Beatles tunes and then decided to do it again… and again and again for a couple of years.
