Symphonic power metal band Insatia releases new music video for Memory of a Sapphire

June 27, 2017

Symphonic power metal band Insatia have just released a music video for their song, Memory of a Sapphire. The song is off their newly released album, Phoenix Aflame. Vocalist Zoë Federoff comments on the song, “Memory of a Sapphire quickly became a favorite for us in the studio- it’s poppy and melody-oriented, which makes it a lot of fun to play live. Spotlighting Mr. Chris Amott’s guitar artistry on it adds a whole new level of zing, and as it really represents our sound most completely, it all seemed very natural to make it the first music video for the album.” Check out the video here:     You can pick up the album by heading over to https://pitchblackrecords.bandcamp.com/album/phoenix-aflame Track List: 1. We are hooked on our spotlight band Carter Lou & The Project

June 27, 2017

Today our Spotlight shines on an amazing artist Carter Lou & The Project. Carter’s journey into music began with a bold decision after tragic circumstances. Carter Louthian was ready to set off to college and suddenly everything changed. The night before he was set to go to college, Lou snapped: his two best friends had recently killed themselves a day apart, and his girlfriend had just broken his heart. Combined with the reality of the packaged post-college suburban life he was heading toward, he felt even more emptiness. He boldly told his parents that he wasn’t going to university in the morning and has chosen to pursue music instead. Since then, the band has packed out numerous headlining shows and earning a prestigious endorsement from PRS Guitars.  It truly reminds me of two of my favorite quotes: “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” [Read More]
