March 27, 2018

Indie pop artist from L.A. SOMME has released a new single, Ordinary Fools off her upcoming EP. Her self titled debut EP is set for a May 4th release. SOMME has released a music video for the new single which she comments, “I started this song on a train when I was looking back on a relationship that I had wished for a while would come to fruition but never did. When I hear the intro synth sounds I remember being on that train in upstate New York in Mid October when all the leaves were changing. The video concept originally started as a separate entity from the song, but now I feel the same watching the video as I first did on that train.” Check out the new video here: The new single and her EP captures her vulnerability as she bares her soul and feelings in each song. Her emotionally driven lyrics will take a hold of you and the infectious pop hooks will reel you in. We look forward to her new [Read More]

Steven Kent’s Cash & King Live deliver an exceptional performance at Santa Rosa’s House of Rock

March 26, 2018

This weekend, we had the pleasure of catching Steven Kent’s Cash & King: The Ultimate Celebration of the Legends at the House of Rock. I was excited to listen some Johnny Cash and Elvis music, never expecting to be whisked away on a nostalgic journey of music. First we must explain that Cash & King is not a cover band or a tribute band set on impersonating the artist. It is a group of phenomenal musicians who come together to celebrate the music of the legendary Johnny Cash and Elvis. Each member of the band is supremely talented and they delivered a spot on performance. The night kicked off with a superb set of Johnny Cash songs, sprinkled with interesting anecdotes and tales from Steven. His magnetic personality and the passion he has for these artists shines through his stage presence and storytelling.  Then when he begins to sing, you are immediately transported to the memories that the songs held for you. They brought the music to life and the crowd was fully engaged and [Read More]
