Bandcamp support bands with a special promotion today!

The COVID-19 pandemic has a huge impact on many artists right now. There are many different ways to help your favorite bands though. Bandcamp also decided to help. They will waive their revenues today, so there’s more money for the artists. The Covid-19 pandemic is in full force, and artists have been hit especially hard as tours and shows are being canceled for the foreseeable future. With such a major revenue stream drying up almost entirely, finding ways to continue supporting artists in the coming months is now an urgent priority for anyone who cares about music and the artists who create it. The good news is that we’re already seeing many fans going above and beyond to support artists across Bandcamp. After countless news on tour cancellations, thankfully re-scheduled tour dates get released too. Amongst them Parkway Drive. The whole ‘’Viva The Underdogs – European Revolution 2020” arena tour, which was due to happen in April and postponed due to the Corona-virus, is pushed now to November and December 2020. Emmure release new video ‚Gypsy Disco’

Following their late 2019 single “Pigs Ear” metal juggernauts EMMURE continue to tease their forthcoming, eighth studio album that’s due out later this year. Today, the band has revealed a video for a crushing new song titled “Gypsy Disco”. EMMURE’S latest track from their upcoming album touches on the subject of suicide prevention, a topic near and dear to the band. Olivia O’Brien brings her Sad F**king Tour to San Francisco

Olivia O’Brien made a stop in San Francisco and brought her Sad F**king Tour to the Regency Ballroom. It was quite a night as the fans arrived early to make sure to get up front and sing along with Olivia! The night kicked off with sets by drumaq and Hey Violet. They got the crowd warmed up and adrenaline was racing through the crowd as Olivia took the stage. From the moment she arrived to the end, the crowd was singing along and completely “in the moment”. The crowd wasn’t filled with phones in the air, instead the fans were singing along and feeling the vibes that her music delivers. Avatar share ‚Legend Of Avatar Country: A Metal Odyssey’

In late 2018 Avatar started a Kickstarter Campaign to finance the making of an extended documentary on their latest record ‘The Legend Of The King’. At the time that we’re writing this, we have released music videos for ’A Statue of the King’, ’the King Wants You’ and ’the King Welcomes You to Avatar Country’. They have all gotten a great reception and with three music videos recorded and released, our record labels have fulfilled their commitment when it comes to promoting the album Avatar Country and we are very happy with our working relationship.
