October 9, 2020

Allow me to introduce you to the powerful and soulful vocals of Jessie Wagner. The popular touring singer (Lenny Kravitz, Chic, Duran Duran, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul) and frontwoman for NYC rock/soul band Army of the Underdog has just released her debut solo album. The diverse 11 track album, Shoe’s Droppin highlights her soulful, bluesy vocals that are rich in emotion and depth. You can’t help but let her take you away on a musical journey of songs that share her triumphs and pain. The album is a musical gem and it will feed your soul and lift your spirits. Jessie explains about the album, “It’s exciting to stand alone and see if anyone connects with (it). I’ve had some of these songs with me for years, but I was always waiting for the right time to put them out. It’s scary, because this is my voice, my words, just me. It was cathartic to get out some of that anger and sadness, but there’s also the presence of faith that it will all get better.” [Read More]

You can check out the new EP by heading over to the following link: https://insom.co/collide Or take a listen here: Westend · COLLIDE EP [INSOMNIAC RECORDS] About Westend: New York City native, Tyler Morris, is a product of his environment. Having attended Robert Moog’s alma mater in The Bronx, Morris developed a fascination with electronic music and production at a young age. After a breakout 2018, then 24-year-old Westend got a taste of what it’s like to be a mustwatch artist on the US tech-house scene. Knowing this momentum wouldn’t last without hard work, Morris delved deeper into the tech-house scene and sharing his craft with the world. Much like the city that shaped him, Westend’s work can be found at the cross-streets of driving basslines, quirky vocals, and crisp, methodical production. October 9, 2020

Check out the latest news about the iconic R.E.M. READ poster.   ATHENS, Ga. – In 1990, R.E.M. posed for the American Library Association’s READ campaign to promote the pleasure and importance of reading—and it became an instant collector’s item. The READ poster campaign gave indie rock artists Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, and Michael Stipe a chance to promote their love of reading and to share some of their favorite books and authors with the public. This iconic image, taken over 30 years ago, will now be available in puzzle form to R.E.M. fans and a new generation of readers.    “Whether home in Athens or out on tour, we were always excited to hear from friends and fans that the poster was hanging in their public library, community center, local bookstore, or in a classroom where their children attended school,” said R.E.M.  The American Library Association (ALA) and Photographer Tom Hill have permitted R.E.M. to re-release the image as a 1,000-piece READ puzzle, soon to be manufactured by the Athens, Georgia, based [Read More]
