Profiler release new track “Ninety Three”

February 12, 2022

Hotly tipped UK trio Profiler have released an aspirational nu-metalcore rager in the form of new single ‘Ninety Three’. In the band’s own words “Ninety Three is a track about going for your dreams. It’s rooted in the idea of the manifestation of hard work. Our desires can seem far away and out of reach at times, but patience and persistence can harden your desired outcome into reality. This is a heavy-hitting nu-metalcore banger about never giving up”. Corey Taylor announces new EP and releases cover song

February 12, 2022

GRAMMY® Awards-winning singer/songwriter, actor, and New York Times-bestselling author Corey Taylor shared the details on his new EP ‘CMFB….Sides’, which will be released February 25th via Roadrunner Records. The EP can be pre-ordered on all streaming platforms. The first single, a cover of John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band’s “On The Dark Side” is available HERE. ‘CMFB…Sides’ includes nine unreleased b-sides, cover-versions of songs that inspired the band, acoustic versions, and live tracks. Besides “On The Dark Side”, Taylor reduced the 1981 classic “Lunatic Fringe” from Red Rider to an impressionable acoustic number, pimped “Got To Choose” from Kiss and ‘punked up’ “All This And More” by Dead Boys. Originally recorded for The Metallica Blacklist, the EP also includes Taylors cover version of “Holier Than Thou” from Metallicas “Black” album. Probably the most surprising track is Eddie Money’s “Shakin”. The EP also includes acoustic versions of “Kansas” and “Halfway Down” from Taylors debut album ‘CMFT’ from 2020 as well as a powerful live-medley of “Home” and Stone Sours “Come What(ever) May”-final “Zzyxz Rd”.   [Read More]

Crossfaith return with “Gimme Danger” feat. ralph

February 12, 2022

Japanese genre-blenders Crossfaith channel rock, metal, rap and grime on their new single ‘Gimme Danger’ (ft. ralph), out via UNFD alongside a new music video. Speaking of the song, frontman Kenta Koie says: “We decided to write new music to heal people and boost their minds. We still can’t play live, but we can deliver new music to our fans and I’m pretty sure that is our role under these circumstances,  he shares, adding that the vocal feature of grime-inspired local rapper ralph brought both an energy, intensity and chemistry to the song. “On ‘Gimme Danger’ we welcome ralph, an upcoming rapper who has the essence of grime. We feel a real chemistry, and our fans can catch new feelings with it. Those moments where people have a new experience are more important than just making music – we want to achieve something which we haven’t figured out already, so our exploring will keep going.” ‘Gimme Danger’ also features an audio sample of the audience clapping during Crossfaith’s last headline tour in Japan. Just Friends release new song “Honey”

February 12, 2022

The cover of “Hella”, the upcoming third LP from Bay Area outfit Just Friends AKA JF Crew, is a quintessential west coast dream: fireworks spitfire their way across a starry night sky while below on the warm pavement, friends watch the explosions from their cars, awash in the warm glow. Vocalist Sam “Sammy” Kless says this ritual of nighttime Californian communion is what “Hella” is all about. “This is a record to listen to when you’re driving around at night time with your friends, with the person you like, or just by yourself”, Kless explains. The crew’s latest single “Honey” is practically begging to be taken for one of those rides. It’s a thick, perfumed late-night slow-burn featuring vocalist Brianda E. Goyos León’s first-ever verse in her native Spanish, while Sacramento hip-hop artist Nate Curry brings an airy, saccharine bridge. “Hella” will arrive on March 4th from Pure Noise Records. Gamechanger. The term probably doesn’t fit any album better than “HELLA”. Throughout, Just Friends’ effortlessly weaves marching band brass theatrics, R&B tenderness, funk brashness, and [Read More]

SPOTLIGHT BAND: Bay Area rockers CRASH PILOT release new video and song, SIP

February 10, 2022

Who could ask for anything better as a birthday gift than a new video/song from rockers Crash Pilot?  Hell yeah, what a great day to celebrate the new music out now from Crash Pilot. They are releasing their new song, SIP and it has a killer video that will have you ready to rock. Who is Crash Pilot? CRASH PILOT features singer/songwriter Nikki Scott, Shredmeister Omri KB, bassist David Alvarez and drummer Cody Dawson.  Our mission is pretty simple, we’re here to play kick ass rock n roll and have fun in the process. We thrive on the adrenaline we get from performing live on stage, and we all share a deep passion for music. The songs we write are a reflection of our collective influences and our lived experiences. The process of writing is a collaborative effort, and though Nikki is the lyricist we like to keep an open door policy for ideas. We are all good friends, on and off the stage and are very excited to share our vision with the world. [Read More]
