Southern California Raised / Berklee College Of Music Singer-Songwriter Maggie Cubillos Announces West Coast Shows   Singer-songwriter Maggie Cubillos is currently a senior at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. The 21-year-old Colombian/Cuban/American vocalist grew up in Hermosa Beach, a small Southern California coastal town, with its own rich musical history steeped in both Jazz and Punk Rock. She has spent her entire life on stages, including stints at the prestigious A Cappella Academy, and the nationally recognized Legacy A Cappella group. The former National YoungArts Foundation finalist continues to hone her craft through various projects, collaborations, and live gigs, including a just-announced string of west coast shows. Mama Said; a fan favorite at BottleRock 2023

Another great band I wanted to let you know about from BottleRock is Mama Said. This Bay Area rock band has such a cool retro inspired sound, reminiscent of 70’s/80’s classic rock. The band has not only one but two powerhouse female vocalists and they work in such a cohesive state to create their own sound and style, like no other. Their set brought the energy to the Allianz stage and the crowd was dancing along to their guitar driven songs. Whether you like classic rock or new rock, Mama Said have exactly what you need! JACK in San Francisco at The Independent

The Blue Stones returned to San Francisco last week for their show at The Independent and once again they brought incredible openers; The Velveteers and JACK. We were glad to arrive early because JACK blew us away with their set. Singer Songwriter Jack Osborn had a charismatic energy that was highlighted with each song he sang. The Velveteers ROCK The Independent in San Francisco!

    One of the up and coming bands we have been following The Velveteers made it to San Francisco this past week. They were opening up for The Blue Stones at the Independent.  We have heard so many rave reviews about their live shows that we couldn’t wait to finally experience it ourselves.  One thing is certain, they exceeded our high expectations for a full on ROCK SHOW! The energy of the dueling drums and the shredding guitar with captivating vocals had us completely mesmerized from start to finish.  They had the crowd in awe of their performance as the adrenaline raced through the room and the fans reciprocated with screams and cheers. It was a mighty set that we will not soon forget.
