L.S. Dunes release new video for Grey Veins

L.S. Dunes: vocalist Anthony Green, guitarist Frank Iero, bassist Tim Payne, drummer Tucker Rule, and guitarist Travis Stever shared a brand-new video for “Grey Veins,” a blistering anthem off the band’s highly acclaimed debut album released last year, Past Lives. An ingenious send-up of 70’s Japanese Sci-Fi horror flicks, the “Grey Veins” video features the band as soldiers battling forces greater than themselves while orchestrating a miniature war for Earth’s survival. The National released its ninth studio album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein, on 4AD. Buy/Stream the album HERE. They played at BottleRock Napa 2023 and it was quite a set. They just began a 2023 world tour with a four-night stand in Chicago on May 18. The itinerary, with numerous shows already sold out, also includes the band’s first show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on August 18 with very special guest Patti Smith and her band. Other shows feature opening sets from Soccer Mommy, The Beths and Bartees Strange. Tove Lo performs her new track I Like U at BottleRock Napa

Tove Lo gave quite a set at BottleRock Napa and engaged the crowd throughout her set as they sang along. She also treated the audience to her performance of her new track, I Like . Speaking about the track Tove Lo reveals, “I wanted to make another dance song that sonically felt like a nod to 90’s and Y2K dance music. I wrote this song with Timfromthehouse, we worked on it for months in between tours to figure the perfect arrangement. It’s not the usual pop structure but it’s perfect for this song, I think. Lyrically I’m telling the story of my thoughts the first time I saw the love of my life. They’re not clean but at least I never said any of them out loud.” Tove will be donating a portion of her streaming proceeds from ‘I like u’ to The Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention org for LGBTQ young people. The Unlikely Candidates delivered charismatic and powerful set at BottleRock 2023

It was 2013 the first time I saw The Unlikely Candidates perform. They were opening up for Blue October at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco out on the SWAY Tour. They had immediately captured our attention with their fierce headlining worthy performance! Fast forward 10 years and The Unlikely Candidates have us even more in awe of their live performance. They played on the Truly stage at BottleRock but their set was main stage worthy. Their sound is a blend of genres; rock, alternative, grunge, southern rock, without falling into a checkbox. The only thing that they can check off is POWERFUL NON STOP ROCK! When they perform your eyes are darting across the stage as each member gives 150% as they play.
