July 10, 2023

British indie pop artist MIKE GALE has released his latest new track, Summer Be Gone which is off his upcoming album,  ‘Thanks for Always Waving’ which is due out  September 8. Dirty Honey announces their latest new single, Won’t Take Me Alive

July 10, 2023

Our favorite rockers Dirty Honey have just released a new single which is a straight up balls-to-the-wall rock track that you will be instantly hooked! Check out the track, “Won’t Take Me Alive” here: Produced by Nick DiDia (Rage Against The Machine, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam) and recorded this past April at his Byron Bay, Australia studio, the song is loaded with Marc LaBelle’s sleazy, passionate vocals and in-your-face attitude, bassist Justin Smolian’s throbbing bass, new drummer Jaydon Bean’s fresh and bad-ass grooves, and, as LaBelle put it about guitarist John Notto, “…the best riff I’d heard in the last decade. The song is full of sex and swagger, but it’s still got the heaviness and the fun that Dirty Honey’s all about.” “‘Won’t Take Me Alive’ was an instrumental idea I demoed on bass, drums, and guitar at my home studio,” said Notto. “I brought it to the band, we wrote a new chorus, and it was basically finished that quickly. Nick [DiDia] rented some vintage amps and really helped me get the raunchy sound and attitude I wanted [Read More]

Johnny O’Neil Releases Music Video for Lead Single “Brand New Day”

July 10, 2023

Johnny O’Neil recently announced the release of his third album “Brand New Day”. Johnny recently released the music video for the lead single from the album, also titles “Brand New Day.” The video can be viewed here: Johnny O’Neil speaking about the new video, “We wanted to capture the energy of the full band through incorporating video technology that we haven’t utilized before, courtesy of our amazing videographers, Brianna and Kurt Jorgensen. Regarding the song itself, following such difficult and tumultuous times that we have all been through over the past three years, I thought it was important to put out a record that rejuvenates people. Although we’re still struggling in many ways, I wanted to say that it’s time to move on and look forward to a better day. The chorus of ‘Brand New Day’ – ‘I’m alive, I’m feeling fine’ – is about getting through one of the weirdest eras the world has ever seen with positivity and hope.” You can stream and purchase “Brand New Day” at: http://johnnyoneil.hearnow.com/ 1. July 10, 2023

Perfect way to start off the week is with a new video from Chromeo! Chromeo unveil the surreal and kinetic video for “(I Don’t Need A) New Girl”. Directed by Spencer Ford (Troye Sivan, JAWNY) and produced by Weston Freas (BROCKHAMPTON, Kevin Abstract), the video finds Chromeo’s Dave 1 and P-Thugg in their sweet spot: prowling amongst cars, legs and keyboards.  Watch the video here: “(I Don’t Need A) New Girl” concludes a cohesive trilogy of singles: “Replacements,” which was hailed as “a nod back to the heyday of indie sleaze,” that is “sure to make you dance” by Consequence and features the era-defining artist La Roux, who made a surprise appearance during Chromeo’s Coachella sets to debut the track; and “Words With You,” which Stereogum calls their “favorite thing the Canadian synth-funk duo has ever done” and is currently featured in an international Taco Bell ad campaign. Ozzy Osbourne issues statement about Power Trip Festival

July 10, 2023

Power Trip Festival which is set for October 6-8 in Indio, California  at the Empire Polo Fields has an unfortunate change. Ozzy Osbourne has issued the following statement.     OZZY OSBOURNE STATEMENT As painful as this is, I’ve had to make the decision to bow out of performing on Power Trip in October. My original plan was to return to the stage in the summer of 2024, and when the offer to do this show came in, I optimistically moved forward. Unfortunately, my body is telling me that I’m just not ready yet and I am much too proud to have the first show that I do in nearly five years be half-assed. The band that will be replacing me on Power Trip will be announced shortly. They are personal friends of mine and I can promise that you will not be disappointed. Above all, I want to thank my fans, my band, and my crew for their unconditional loyalty and continual support. I love you all and I will see you soon. God Bless, Ozzy   We wish [Read More]
