Noise Pop and Due South bring the music to Jerry Garcia Amphitheater

August 28, 2023

Saturday afternoon in San Francisco has many options on how to spend your day but I think we found the best one. Noise Pop Presents and Due South brought the perfect 3 band free concert to the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater in McLaren Park. The Greek style outdoor concert venue is spectacular as it sits in a natural park and has amazing scenery to enjoy as you immerse yourself into the music. The free concert started off with King Isis who we recently caught at Outside Lands. They immediately got the crowd fired up. Next up was a stripped down duo of Momma and their emotionally driven songs had us hooked from the start. The headliner Cherry Glazerr took the stage and the crowd went wild. The fans ran down to be right front and center for their set and their energy was nonstop throughout the killer set. What really makes these shows so great, is the fans and this show had so many awesome dedicated music lovers. Check out our gallery of the crowd: [Read More]

Living Colour opened up for Extreme out on the Thicker Than Blood Tour as it made a stop in San Francisco on Saturday night. The Regency Ballroom was packed, and Living Colour started the night off with a killer cover of Led Zeppelin’s Rock and Roll. It was the perfect way to kick off the night and the energy remained nonstop. The crowd sang along and grooved to a killer setlist that included a heartfelt and passionate cover of Prince’s Nothing Compares to You. In addition to all of their hits, they delivered a medley including White Lines (Don’t Don’t Do It) / Apache / The Message to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop. They sounded amazing and put on quite a show. Check out some photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan: Extreme hit the stage and started the night off with It (‘s a Monster). The band sounded tight and they delivered a stadium worthy show.  Vocalist Gary Cherone is a true frontman and was captivating from start to finish and his voice was timeless. The backbeat of the band was highlighted with Pat Badger’s hard hitting bass and Paul Gary’s thunderous drumming. You couldn’t help but be in awe of guitarist Nuno Bettencourt’s playing. Archer Oh brings epic opening set to Menlo Park at Guild Theatre

August 26, 2023

We were so excited to catch Dogstar at the amazing Guild Theatre venue in Menlo Park. What was even better, was finding a new favorite band in the opener. Archer Oh is from Moreno Valley and they absolutely killed it at the show. We loved their nonstop energy and the music had us hooked.  We have been hooked on Easy Eyes and that song has a permanent spot on our playlist! They are a surft/indie garage band that really captured the crowd’s attention. We can’t wait to see them live again. Foreigner delivers stellar set at Shoreline for The Historic Farewell Tour

August 25, 2023

Last night was not your typical Thursday night in the Bay Area and it is one that will remain strong in our memories. We were at the Shoreline Amphitheatre to see Foreigner – The Historic Farewell tour with Loverboy. The venue was quickly filling up as a couple high school choirs were battling out.  They got the crowd warmed up and the energy quickly elevated the second Loverboy took the stage. Loverboy kicked it off strong with Notorious and the crowd erupted in cheers, they followed it up with a personal favorite Lucky Ones. The hits kept on coming, one after another and the crowd was soaking it all in. You could feel the nostalgia in the air as many of us were reliving our high school years.  It was incredible to watch groups of friends come together to revisit a band that was the soundtrack of their youth and to witness Loverboy deliver the songs nearly exactly ss they sounded years ago! I was sitting near a couple of large groups who were dancing [Read More]
