Butcher Babies at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for Golden Gods Tour

This weekend was once again filled with incredible shows to cover and incredible sets by many awesome bands, check out our coverage of Devil You Know here and Black Label Society here. Friday night we were at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the Revolver Golden Gods Tour. The night started off with a fierce set by one of my favorite bands, Butcher Babies. We had a blast covering them last year at the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival and were glad to see them back.

This band is never short on energy as they were determined to start the night off with a bang. The crowd was packed and I believe it was a sold out, or nearly sold out show. The best part was that everyone got there early enough to catch the full set of Butcher Babies. Vocalists Heidi and Carla truly know how to command the audience as they had everyone under their Butcher Babies spell. Check out the photos of our Rockin Ryan here of their set:

We are so excited to see that Butcher Babies will be returning to perform at this year’s Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in September. We hope they will be performing on one of the big stages where they belong. Last year, we had the chance to talk with the guys from the band and are pleased to bring you that interview here:
