Covid-19 quarantine led to such deep self-isolation for many, but you have to search for the silver linings. Many musicians who have been grounded with the ban of live performances, have flourished with writing new music. One such artist is Crossing i’s Dotting t’s. When asked about quarantine, Matthew shares,
Quarantine has been great to me. I’m more of a home-body as it is, so it’s helped me to focus on writing and getting out as many songs as I can. That’s my main goal right now, to get music out there.Â
With that in mind, he has just released another new track, My Nights End in a Disaster. He shares with us how the new track came about,
I wrote “My Nights End in a Disaster” mainly about how there are always those people in your life (friends, family, coworkers, etc…) who are not striving for as much as you are and don’t have aspirations so they hold you back. “I’m hanging from the rafters, while your holding onto everything you know” just speaks to how I’m trying to do big things and some people in my life are just doing the same things they’ve always done and can’t fathom doing something different or better.Â
