If you were at Boardwalk in Orangevale last night you were treated to an epic night of music by Fearless Records. They brought the Fresh Faces Tour to the Sacramento area and it was an incredible high energy night. The tour features Ice Nine Kills, Wage War, My Enemies and I and The White Noise. The lineup was complimented by two great local bands, Mercedes Avenue and Faint Silhouette.
We will be bringing you full coverage of each band and several interviews so stay tuned. But first we wanted to give you a sneak peak of what you can expect out on the Fresh Faces Tour. If you haven’t already, make sure to pick up your tickets, it will be a kick ass night.
Ice Nine Kills are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated new album, Every Trick in the Book on December 4th. They had a great stage setup with fierce lighting and setting that captures the dark haunting story telling of INK that we fell in love with. They played songs off their forthcoming album and a highlight was to see them perform Bloodbath & Beyond live!
Wage War are set to release their debut album Blueprints on November 27th. They unleashed a heavy dose of hardcore that carries a depth of layers to their style. They finished off the set with the crowd favorite Twenty One and it was awesome to hear the crowd sing along.
My Enemies & I brought out the hallows of the darkness with their explosive set. It was intense with raw edge that has been missing from the music scene lately and it was welcoming to see the passion this band brings to their set.
The White Noise have exploded onto the scene and I have been hearing a lot of great things about them. So it was exciting to catch them live and see first hand their ferociously energetic punk singed set. You will definitely be hearing a lot from them and we look forward to their new album in 2016.
The lineup was incredible and it offered a variety of musical style to grab your attention and give you your much needed fix of hard hitting music. We can’t forget the great local opening bands that got the crowd pumped up and ready to go, Mercedes Avenue and Faint Silhouette. Two bands that I hope to see a lot more of. It was the first time we were able to catch Faint Silhouette live and they killed it with a solid hard hitting set. Mercedes Avenue brought out the fun for the night and had everyone enjoying the show.
