Today, we live in a time where new music is readily available and always at your fingertips. When I was young and in search of new bands, I would have to set out to Tower Records and search for the new single cassettes or 45s that were released that week. It was great because you would not only find the mainstream artists but you could find singles from up and coming new bands. The only problem being that those finds were far and few in between and would take a lot of searching.
Fast forward to today, and now you could find what might be your new favorite band by just clicking a link on a Facebook or a video on Youtube. Even better, is when you find that band at their early stages so you can truly become part of their growing fanbase. I have a band that I would strongly encourage you to check out. Allow me to introduce you to Lovesick Riot out of Southern California. They are a pretty new band but this group of young talented musicians are truly deserving of your attention.
They have just released a video for their new song, Black and it is an infectiously bubbly track that I love! It captures the young spirit of these four and I really look forward to what is next in store for them. Check out the video here:
