The Kenneths guarantees to be one of the Warped Tour highlights this summer

Sometimes when things are going a little crazy, I will pull out my old box of cassettes that are filled with mixtapes from my school years. There is just something that about listening to my old Ramones, The Clash, Social Distortion, Cure songs that will just make everything alright. I don’t need to dig deep for those mixtapes when I can crank up the Kenneths loud. Their new song Cool As You will have you screaming in punk rock delight. Check out the new song:

It is an amazing track and I found myself in a time warp as I listen to them but then excitedly realized that I would be seeing them this summer out on Warped Tour! The band explains, “”Cool As You” is about seeing all the cool kids and just wishing you could fit in, and be hip. Even though it’s actually far better to be an outcast and a misfit. You work harder, and end up doing way better. The cool kids at school peak way too early.”

The song is featured on their brand new EP E which will be released on June 15^th, 2015 and is now available for pre-order via the band’s website: http://www.thekenneths.com. Bassist Lewis Maynard comments,

“‘E’ is our 2nd E.P in four months. All we care about is playing live, and we really captured that with this E.P. The songs are super raw and bouncy, we tried to cut out all of the fat,” notes vocalist and guitarist Joshua Weller. “Everything you hear is live. We’re a live band so the main goal was to try and capture the energy and explosiveness of the live shows. We even got people to sit in the room while we were recording to make it feel more like a show,”
