We have been anxiously waiting for the A Love Like Tour to come to town and earlier this week, we were able to catch the sold out show in Sacramento, CA. Openers Handguns and Man Overboard warmed up the crowd and proved that the night would be a pop punk invasion.  Headliners All Time Low came out and performed to a completely packed house. For a Tuesday night, I couldn’t believe how crowded it was, but with the dedicated fan base of All Time Low it should come as no surprise.  All Time Low has consistently packed venues and always deliver a solid show that leaves people talking about it for a long time after.
The band came out to a crowd filled with balloons floating around and the fans wildly chanting their name. They started with their get up and go song, “Do You Want Me”. From the first song to the last, there was nonstop energy and these four young guys fueled with adrenaline in their veins delivered a performance that was spectacular. Â Singer Alex Gaskarth engaged the crowd as guitarist Jack Barakat and bassist Zack Merrick crisscrossed the stage and treated every corner of the venue to their popular stage antics. Drummer Rian Dawson was always smiling and never missed a beat.
One thing is for sure, the crowd loved them and they must have reached a record for crowd surfers that night because there was a continuous stream of crowd surfers. In addition to crowd surfers, there was a non stop flow of bras. I think they might have enough to open a Victoria Secret store! The band truly has an infectious charisma that seems to spreads through the crowd and collectively energizes the room.
Check out a slideshow of photos by our Rockin Ryan from their set at the Ace of Spades that night:
There was also a few nice acoustic songs and the crowd was also treated to Cassadee Pope coming out to sing Remembering Sunday with Alex. The last two songs of the night were the highlights for everyone. Hard to actually say that since the whole set was awesome but the decibel rating for the last two songs were off the charts! Almost every single person was singing all the words to A Love Like War and Dear Maria Count Me In.Â
What is great about All Time Low is that they might be a young band, but they have a decade long history, dedicated fan base, and well written music that inspires their listeners. All Time Low have done the perfect job of connecting the listener to their song and bring out the best in each and every one of them. Here is the set list for the night:
