My Darkest Days is one of my favorite bands, so it is no surprise that I want to share some news about a couple of their members. Drummer Doug Oliver and Bassist, Brendan McMillan. They have a side project Cold Creek County that you have to check out. If you like country or your country with a rockin flare, these guys are for you. In addition to them, you have Brandon Scott on Lead Vocals/ Acoustic, Trevor MacLeod on Lead Guitar and Josh Lester on Guitar and/Backing Vocals.
I checked out their music and I am really liking it. Vocals are amazing and the lyrics are heartfelt and draw you in emotionally. One of their songs, “Sometimes” is absolutely amazing and tells a story that pulls you in with it’s lyrics. “Saddle Up” brings a really rockin flare to it and delivers some great energy.
Let’s all show our support to our My Darkest Days guys and check out Cold Creek County! You will enjoy them!
