We are always writing up about band additions, departures or replacements but this definitely will be the first for us to write about. Punk rock band, One Day’s Notice out of Ohio have announced that their drummer Phil Evans Jr. is leaving the band for a new career. No, he is not setting off on a solo project, he is leaving the group to pursue a career in the porn industry. When vocalist Chris Bassitt was asked about the decision he said “It doesn’t really surprise me at all. He was always whipping out his giant sausage at band practice.“
You will be able to catch Phil play at his last show for the band on June 28th in his hometown of Kent, Oho at the Euro Gyro. Also on the bill for the night is  Firestarter, Far From Proper, and more.  We wish Phil all the best in his new career and make sure to try and catch him at his last show.Â
One Day’s Notice will continue on as they have already begun working on their follow up release to their 2013 release, When Dinosaurs Get Drunk.  You can pick up When Dinosaurs Get Drunk  on all major online markets including iTunes,Spotify, and Bandcamp. The album is filled with catchy tracks that blend sounds from pop, punk, alternative and rock. There is no classifying this band into a genre or subgenre, they are here to just deliver good music and that is exactly what they do. Check out some of my favorite tracks on the album, Liar, Finish What We Started, She Never Stops and Time Won’t Stand Still but make sure to check them all out. Another great track is Coming Home and you can check out their video for it here:
We look forward to hearing their new music. Make sure to visit their social media sites so you can stay up to date on their latest news.
