Aftershock Festival was amazing with over 30+ bands in the two days and over 35,000 attendees. Many of those fans were there to see the amazing show that Volbeat put on. I have seen Volbeat five times but this was the first time that I got to see Rob Caggiano play with them. It was an awesome set and they sounded so spot on!
They played my favorites Fallen, A Warrior’s Call and my new favorite, Lola Montez. I just love that song soooo much. Check out the video that Rockin Ryan made of “A Warrior’s Call” set to footage and photos from their Aftershock set.
One thing is for sure, when Volbeat performs, you really feel the energy from the crowd as well as the band. They create such an intensity that you just can’t help but be drawn to them. It was great to see people who had never seen them before, enjoy the show and called it one of their Festival highlights!
