So it appears that guitarist Lincoln Parish might no longer be in Cage The Elephant! There has been no official statement released by Cage The Elephant but plenty of signs and tweets might give us the confirmation we need.
Lincoln Parish has not been playing some huge gigs lately with Cage The Elephant, including their performance on Jimmy Kimmel live last night where they performed their recent single, “Come a Little Closer”.
Lincoln has recently tweeted the following which may give us the insight we need in all this:
What is exciting is that Lincoln will be doing a lot more with his songwriting and his production company, Talk Box Radio out of Nashville, TN. He currently is doing some work with Penicillin Baby which has some great psychedelic pop/70’s vibe music that you just can’t not love. So make sure to follow Lincoln on Twitter as well as his production company Talk Box Radio so you can stay up to date on what he is working on.
I will also leave you with Cage The Elephant’s recent video for “Come a Little Closer” as well as the dates for their current tour which includes many sold out dates already. We will keep you updated if we get a press release or a confirmation from Cage The Elephant on Lincoln’s departure.
