ZAKK WYLDE’S stolen guitar found in Chicago Pawn Shop

ZakkGuitar

We are pleased to let you know that Zakk Wylde‘s STOLEN Pelham Blues Les Paul Custom Guitar has been found!  We brought you the story on March 14th about how the custom guitar was stolen off his tour bus during the Experience Hendrix show at the Chicago Theater. Social media was trending posts as a call to find the stolen guitar!  You can read that initial post here.

The guitar  turned up at a Chicago area pawn shop that happens to be the setting of truTV’s Hardcore Pawn reality show. It was reported in the Chicago Tribune story how  “The owners of Royal Pawn Shop, 428 S. Clark St., said a man came in to sell the guitar on March 24 – about 10 days after it was reported stolen from Wylde” They also claim they forgot about the alert and paid only around $50 for the guitar. $50 bucks for a GIBSON!! Hard to believe but I who knows…that’s TV for ya...

Anyway, we are glad to see the stolen guitar get recovered and even more excited to catch Zakk and Black Label Society as they roll into San Francisco on June 6th at The Regency Ballroom. Check the dates below and make sure to not miss this awesome tour!  Also, tune in to Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday, May 6th where Black Label Society will be the musical guest. The band is set to perform “Angel of Mercy” which is off their recently released album, Catacombs of the Black Vatican which debuted at the #1 spot on the Independent, Rock and Metal Charts and #5 on the Billboard 200!

I will leave you with Zakk‘s performance at this year’s Revolver Golden Gods Awards paying tribute to his long time friend, Dimebag Darrel as he performed In This River.
