PALAYE ROYALE WIN FINAL ROUND OF 2014 MTV MUSICAL MARCH MADNESS!!!

Here you go! PALAYE ROYALE just made history and I have never doubted them for a second!  We wrote about PALAYE ROYALE last year and simply titled them “The Best Indie Rock Band out Today That You Have to Hear“. Well I am glad to see that they are continuing to get the praise and recognition that they truly deserve.  Most recently, PALAYE ROYALE was the only unsigned band to be nominated in the MTV Musical March Madness. That is not where they stopped, they deserve to be at the Top and that is exactly where they are headed. This year it is the 5th Annual MTV Musical March Madness and we were ecstatic to see them make it through the following rounds: Round 1  beating out Vampire Weekend Round 2  beating out Coldplay Round 3 beating out Bastille Round 4 beating out Tokio Hotel Round 5 beating out We Are The In Crowd Round 6 beating Linkin Park   They DID IT!!! The Veer Union announces tour and set to release Deluxe Edition of Divide The Blackened Sky

The Veer Union are set to release a Deluxe Edition of “Divide The Blackened Sky” which will include three new songs and re-mastered tracks. The new album is set to release on June 10, 2014 through Pavement Entertainment and distributed by MRI/Sony RED. Frontman Crispin Earl gives us his take on the album,“Divide The Blackened Sky, is a much darker and heavier effort than our previous works. It depicts all the hard times we have been through over the last couple of years”. Also The Veer Union has announced they will be heading out on tour in May for the “Beyond The Blackened Sky Tour” and will include Righteous Vendetta, Blacklite District and Black Oxygen. The tour is set to start off on May 27th with the first show at The Roxy in British Colombia. Stay tuned for more tour dates to be announced.     We are excited to see The Veer Union back out on tour and have been long time supporters of them since first seeing them in 2009 with Puddle of Mudd and Burn Halo. AEROSMITH & SLASH ANNOUNCE TOUR DATES and play surprise show at The Whisky a Go Go

What better way to announce the tour dates for the upcoming Aerosmith & Slash summer tour than playing a surprise show at The Whisky a GoGo in Hollywood. Well that is exactly what happened today. I was sitting in my doctor’s office as I get the tweet announcing Slash is set to perform with Aerosmith at the Whisky. I almost ran out there until I remembered I hadn’t succeeded at my teleportation transit yet! Secrets release new music video for “Maybe Next May”

San Diego Rockers Secrets have been having a lot of success with their latest album, Fragile Figures which you can pick up here on Itunes., With an album full of well crafted songs, catchy melodies,  It is no surprise that everyone is taking notice of this great band emotionally driven lyrics and songs that capture the listener. Secrets just released a new music video for Maybe Next May. With the ever changing genres, sub-genres, cores, etc you find so many bands trying to re-invent themselves or create the latest or newest sound. So it is very rewarding to find a band through all of that, that is just out to perform and play straight up Rock n Roll. Allow me to introduce you to CIMINO who does just that.  CIMINO is a powerhouse Rock Band from Kansas City and is time for you to take a listen! CIMINO is Kyle Cimino on Vocals, Lead Guitar, Sebastian Anderson on Drums, Vocals, Trevor Brown on Guitar, Vocals and Danny Lee on Bass. Together they are taking the music scene over with their catchy ballads, smoking guitar riffs, and edgy vocals. SHINING from Norway out on tour and release live footage from 2013 Øya Festival

SHINING, the extreme metal band from Norway have returned to North America and have just kicked off a tour with The Dillinger Escape Plan. You can find tour dates below. To get everyone geared up and head to their high energy performances, SHINING have released the live footage of their set from the 2013 Øya Festival.  Frontman Jørgen Munkeby commented, “One thing that sets our live shows apart from albums is our extended, improvised transitions between songs, and this show has some of the coolest improvised sections. Just check out the last songs, ‘HEALTER SKELTER’ and ’21st Century Schizoid Man!‘”  Check out the video here:     The video proves that they are definitely a band you won’t want to miss when they come to your town.
