Well here we are the night before the release on August 20th and I can’t contain my excitement. We had pre-ordered the CD through the Pledge campaign and received the download early this morning. Music has been my passenger on my rollercoaster ride of my life, with my during my highs and there to comfort me during my lows. No matter what mood I was in, music was always there to share in the moment. So many times when someone mentions an artist or a band, I can go back and remember the first time I heard them or how I was introduced to their music. Papa Roach cancels South American tour due to Jacoby’s strained vocal chords

Vocal issues have plagued lead singer Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach for some time now. It was last year that he spoke about a node forming on his vocal chord and which eventually led him to have surgery. He successfully recovered from that surgery and has gone on to kick ass at shows with his incredible voice. He truly is one of my favorite vocalists! Papa Roach just released a statement announcing suspension of their South American tour dates due to Jacoby Shaddix’s strained vocal chords. Get ready for some great ROCK N ROLL from JAPAN!! Today’s Tuesdays Travels takes us to a band that started back in 2002 in Kanagawa, Japan. The GazettE is described as visual kei rock which has been characterized by the use of varying levels of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes, often, but not always, coupled with androgynous aesthetics. Well whatever it is I really LOVE the sound of The GazettE. They will be releasing a new single, “Fadeless” on August 21st and a new album sometime in October.
