Track listing for Alter Bridge new album “Fortress”

I have been waiting for the new Alter Bridge album!! The new album titled “‘Fortress” is set to be released on September 30th in the UK, October 1st in Italy and October 8th in the United States.  Hey I may have to fly to London for my copy early! It was reported on the TheAlterBridgeNation.com website that their single, “Addicted to Pain” will be released on August 20th. If you can’t wait until then, the single will be premiered on BanditRock on August 12th. Lemmy cuts set short: PLEASE TAKE A REST LEMMY! WE LOVE YOU!

Exactly one month ago, I told you about Motorhead cancelling their European tour dates due to Lemmy Kilmister health issues. One of the tour dates they did not cancel was Waken Open Air Festival and maybe they should have. it is reported that they had to cut the set short due to Lemmy’s health.  They had longer pauses between songs and after one long pause, Lemmy came out for another song and never returned. It was reported on Wacken Open Air Festival the following post in German: Mehr als 30 Minuten konnten Motörhead die Black Stage rocken und Lemmy hat alles gegeben um Euch eine geile Show zu liefern. Er ist wohlauf – aber die Temperaturen und Umstände haben dazu geführt, dass einfach nicht mehr ging, ohne dass die Qualität leidet.  Wir freuen uns ungemein und sind stolz, dass Phil, Mikkey und insbesondere Mr. Rock n Roll himself, Lemmy Kilmister, 2013 auf dem W:O:A waren und alles Menschenmögliche getan haben, um diese Show zu spielen. Check out Scar the Martyr, Joey Jordison side project

Joey Jordison is well known for his over the top speed drumming for Slipknot and also his sold intense guitar in Murderdolls. Joey has announced his musical endeavor, Scar the Martyr and he will again be treating us to his precision drumming. Also in the band is Henry Derek as vocalist, keyboardist Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails), and guitarists Jed Simon (Strapping Young Lad) and Kris Norris (Darkest Hour). Scar the Martyr is set to release their debut album is set to release on October 1st. Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals Make a Kid’s Wish Come True!

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals did something very special last night at their Tulsa, Oklahoma performance. They worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and brought up young Peyton Arens who is battling a rare form of  Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer to play with them onstage. They hooked him up with a guitar and they played the infamous PANTERA track, “WALK”.  You can check out the video for it here:   Phil posted on his Instagram a couple photos of the band playing with Peyton as well as a quick video. Hinder’s guitarist, Joe “Blower” Garvey has surgery after bus accident

Last week, HINDER had to pull out from their appearance at the Boise Music Festival on July 27th due to time to recover from a tour bus accident. On July 22nd, they made a post about the accident: Here is the post: “Hinder regrets to inform their fans that they must withdraw from their appearance at the Boise Music Festival on July 27th. Last night when the band was traveling on their tour bus, they were unexpectedly cut off by another vehicle. Members of the band and crew suffered injuries and spent the night in ER. WARBRINGER set to release new album October 15th, IV: Empires Collapse

Los Angeles based heavy Metal band, WARBRINGER have announced the release date for their release of their next masterpiece, IV: Empires Collapse. They band has been locked away for the past few months  in The Omen Room studio with producer Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura, Symphony X).  The release date is set for October 15th through Century Media Records.
