PHOTO GALLERY: King Shelter in San Francisco at Rickshaw Stop

October 4, 2016

King Shelter is from Orange County, California and has been described as a “Salad-Rock” band as they deliver  “a healthy mixture of rock, consisting of surf, grunge, alternative and anything in between. With the obvious layers of intertwining genres (or ingredients, like a salad) creating a unique sound, they also bring their complex lyrics and ideas to remind listeners to think for themselves and that no one person is better than another-in other words, it’s music made for the people, by the people.”  They have just released their new song, Everything Hurts which Taylor Hecocks comments, “‘Everything Hurts’ is my grandfather’s story. Life is hard. The American dream isn’t really a dream; it’s a vortex of preoccupations. But after all is said and done, the corner store is still gonna be selling those sweet cowboy killers n vodka. For the Krispis giveth and the Krispis taketh away.”  Check out the track here:   They recently made a stop in San Francisco and performed at The Rickshaw Stop. Our colleauge Quang Lam was in attendance and you [Read More]

There are only a handful dates remaining on the current Blink-182 Tour with A Day To Remember and All Time Low. Last night they made there stop in Mountain View, CA for a packed crowd at the Shoreline Amphitheater. The night kicked off with a set from DJ Spider as he got the crowd pumped up with familiar songs over the years. All Time Low came out and kicked up the energy. Guitarist Jack Barakat couldn’t contain his adrenaline as he jumped off stage and ran around the amphitheater, bringing the crowd to screams of excitement. A Day To Remember kicked ass as always, bringing the party (or should I say potty) to the stage. Toilet Paper was flying across the crowd and everyone was having a great time. The set was filled with the hit after hit and everyone sang along to their favorite songs. The energy of the crowd grew to great levels as Blink-182 hit the stage with a bang, (literally!). One thing is for certain, they truly know how to entertain [Read More]

The video screen was lit up with a nostalgic video featuring old clips of John’s performance and a video of Elvis Presley performing the 1969 CCR iconic hit, Proud Mary. The video ended just as John as his band started the set with an intense powerful version of Proud Mary, that brought the crowd to their feet.
