Concert Review Free & Easy Festival – July 31st, 2016, Part 1: The Dead Daisies
Every summer one of my favorite venues in Munich, the Backstage, is hosting the Free & Easy festival. That’s 18 days of free shows on different stages inside and open-air. Last year they had bands like Combichrist, Hardcore Superstar and Armored Saint. This year also drew some awesome bands. I was able to get there on three nights, first one July 31st, where The Dead Daisies played a smaller stage, the Club and Lionheart had their last ever Munich show at the Halle. Stage times of both bands collided, so I chose to start off with The Dead Daisies and in between switch to Lionheart. I got to the venue way before the different clubs opened for the audience.
