Pre-Teen Metal band, Unlocking The Truth takes over Coachella as the youngest band to appear at festival

  Coachella Festival was treated to an amazing performance by the pre-teen metal band, Unlocking The Truth from Brooklyn, New York. At the young ages of twelve and thirteen these three kids are skilled musicians and have everyone taking notice of their exceptional talent. Unlocking The Truth were one of the inaugural performances on the main stage Saturday and their explosive live set generated a massive circle pit and left the crowd crying out for more.  Of their set The Los Angeles Times declared, “Playing a hard distorted blend of metal, speed punk and alternative rock on the main stage, they were as well-practiced as units three times their age” while Buzz Bands LA avowed that the band “overpowered an ever-growing mass of moshing festival-goers with the heaviest metal in Indio this side of Motorhead…Malcolm Brickhouse, Jarad Dawkins and Alec Atkins play their instruments better than most bands on the bill…” I can only imagine what the future has in store for this young metal band that write and create their own lyrics and music.   Last year we brought you an interview with one of the fastest rising bands that we wanted you to take notice of, Righteous Vendetta.   It seems that the spotlight on them has grown in the last several months and we are glad to see this Hard Rock/Mettal band, Righteous Vendetta get the attention they so deserve. Outside Lands Music Festival announces lineup and date is set for August 8-10

Outside Lands Music Festival which takes place in the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco has just announced the lineup. The festival is set for the weekend of August 8 – 10. This year’s lineup is quite diverse and headliners include Kanye West, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, etc. Here is the current lineup :   Tickets go on sale this Thursday April 10th at 10 AM. OPERATION ROCKFEST gives a 21 Band Salute to the Troops this June

Operation Rockfest is set for June 21st in Fredericksburg, Virginia and they will be giving a 21 Band Salute to the Troops. It is time to give back to the courageous men and women who have given so much to our country.  The festival has a rockin lineup and it is for a great cause, Luke’s Wings who unites wounded warriors, veterans and heroes with their loved ones when they need them the most.  Check out some of the awesome bands they have lined up: POP EVIL NONPOINT SAVING ABEL GEMINI SYNDROME BOBAFLEX LOVE AND DEATH ANOTHER LOST YEAR LIKE-A-STORM ELISIUM WAYLAND  & MANY MORE!   This year they will have bands playing on 2 stages and between the two stages we will have what we are calling “The Heroes Hangar,” this will be a very limited access area for a select number of Service members. The platform will sit in between the two stages.  With special viewing access and the best seat in the house for those who have give up so much for our freedom.
