Heaven’s Basement returns to the US for Festival tour Dates!

2013 was a KICK ASS year for UK rockers, Heaven’s Basement and 2014 is proving to be another spectacular year for them as they are in high demand. They recently returned to the UK for their “Welcome Home” Headlining tour and had to cancel several dates on the tour due to mandated vocal rest for vocalist Aaron Buchanan. They are set to return back to the US for this year’s Rock on The Range and Rocklahom festivals and more. In other Heaven’s Basement news, the band has been nominated for the Revolver Golden God award for Best New Talent and guitarist Sid Glover is up for the Metal Hammer“Dimebag Darrell Shredder” Golden God award. Revolver‘s ceremony takes place April 23, while Metal Hammer‘s awards are June 16. The Agonist release new video and song with new singer Vicky Psarakis

Montreal’s death metal group, The Agonist have been busy making great new music with their new singer Vicky Psarakis. Vicky Psrakis joined the band when Alissa White-Gluz announced that she was taking over as the new singer in Arch Enemy. The Agonist release a new video which features the first video interview with new singer, Vicky Psarakis, as well as an intimate look at the rest of the band members and snippets of songs coming off their new single, Disconnect Me. Titled, “The Music Will Prevail” it can be viewed here: Disconnect Me will be released on all digital platforms on April 29. Interview with Handguns and catch them out on the “A Love Like Tour”

The “A Love Like Tour” with All Time Low, Man Overboard and Handguns came through Sacramento this week. It was a Tuesday night and it was completely sold out, as with many other stops, it has been sold out for months. It was a Pop Punk Invasion like no other. We got there just in time to catch Handguns hit the stage. They were incredible as they led the crowd into high energy sing alongs to fast paced power punk tunes. One thing is for sure, this band is not short on energy as they delivered a 150% at all times. The crowd went wild as they played their new song, Heart vs. Head which is off of their forthcoming album, Life Lessons. Life Lessons is due out on July 8th via Pure Noise Records.
