Thursday night at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco was an amazing one. We were in attendance to catch Bishop Briggs as they are out on tour with The Wind and the Wave and Kaleo. We first caught Bishop Briggs earlier this year at LIVE 105’s BFD Festival. We had been familiar with the hit song, River which we absolutely loved.  Once you see them perform live, your love for them expands beyond that hit.

The Wind and The Wave started the night off and their set was a great introduction for us. We look forward to checking them out once again.

The venue continued to grow to capacity as Bishop Briggs took the stage. From the moment they hit the stage, they had me captivated. Their set was engaging from start to finish and you were absolutely mesmerized by Bishop’s vocals. She carries such a depth of emotion that just communicates with your soul and awakens your senses. She is such a vibrant energy that exudes positivity. The band consisting of Nik on drums, Ian on keys/bass and Mark on keys and guitar were spot on and rounded it all together.

The crowd was loving every second of it as they erupted in cheers and applause with each song. People were “in the moment” as they held their hands in the air and not their cellphones! They didn’t need their screenshots or videos to remember what this performance meant to them; they experienced it live and that memory will live on.
