I am so excited for the new album by Sick Puppies, “Connect”. I truly have loved these Australian rockers  for many years and they never cease to amaze me. For them I have my new saying, ” I love you more than your last album but less than your next album”.  I can’t imagine ever loving them any more than I do and then… BAM… their new music just has me loving them even more.

Their new album “Connect” is set to release on July 16th and you can pre-order it right with special bundles off of their website  here.   The recently released their new single from the album, “There’s No Going Back” and it instantly became my favorite song. I just the chorus, the energy, the lyrics, everything!! As soon as I hear it come on the radio, I am cranking up the volume and me and my family are all singing along. From 6 year old Brandon who at first was singing, “Hair’s no Growing Back” (He sometimes really gets those lyrics messed up, for weeks he was singing Kill a Fly when Villify came on!!)  to 15 year Ryan in the back air guitaring while we are driving. You just can’t help but get energized by this song. Lyrically, it is amazing and has some of the most meaningful lyrics for me. I love these:

“You can’t regret what you don’t decide

I should have stayed, should have let go

Should’ve, could’ve means you’ll never know”

Here is a video teaser where Sick Puppies played their new single and you can even check out Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach at the end and his singing along as well.

If you are too excited and want more you can head over to Vevo  and you can watch the full video for the song.  Sick Puppies ‘There’s No Going Back”

I truly can’t wait for this album! If you are 18+ and in the Los Angeles area you can catch Sick Puppies for FREE at Walmart Risers Concert on July 2, 2013. You have to RSVP and details are here.  Of course Ryan being 15, is so bummed he can’t go to this one but we will have to wait to see them. We didn’t see any Northern California shows so we will be checking them out at The Glass House in Pomona on July 20th.  Check their website for upcoming tour dates, or the list below. Their live shows always have them delivering energetic and over the top enthusiasm for their fans. Here is a video Ryan took at one of their past concerts:

We can’t wait to see them and we already Pre-Ordered the CD bundle! Let us know what show you are going to.
