Last night we made it to the Ace of Spades in Sacramento for the Hellyeah Blood For Blood Tour. We arrived early to the venue and even at a couple hours before the door opening, the line was beginning to wrap around the street. It was definitely going to be a packed house. We made it inside and caught the last couple songs of Archer who we hope to get a chance to see again. Â Then after, Like A Storm and Devour the Day delivered kick ass sets. The crowd was highly anticipating the arrival of Hellyeah and the energy intensified in the venue to new heights as the lights dimmed and they hit the stage.
The crowd went wild with screams as Vinnie Paul took his place at his throne ready to takeover Sacramento and have us all in awe of his phenomenal playing! One thing is for sure, from the second they hit the stage, you can’t help but get adrenalized with their high velocity performance. Frontman Chad had the crowd under his spell as they followed his every move and became more and more amped as the night progressed. One of the highlights was when they played their new single, Sangre pr Sangre. The flood of crowd surfers continued on and increased with the build up of the song. It was like a wave came across the crowd as they were infected with a much needed dose of heavy metal and hard rock that Hellyeah was there to deliver. Check out some of the photos from our Rockin Ryan of their set:
