My favorite artist, Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October has announced the pre-order for his new CD, Songs From an Open Book. The CD which will feature songs and stories from his Open Book Tour is set for a September 2nd release. We went to one of his shows on his Open Book Tour last year and it was one of the most amazing shows I have ever been to. The spirit in that room was soul touching and the intimate atmosphere allowed Justin to completely connect to the audience through his words and music. Check out our coverage from his Open Book Tour. The CD can be purchased on iTunes here or through his merch site here which includes some really cool bundles. Justin is currently finishing up his 5 week residency at the Hotel Cafe this Thursday August 27th. His Acoustic Storytelling shows have been quite a success and each show is sold out. Fans have expressed that the show was like no other show, Justin’s emotions came to life as he sang and told stories behind the songs.
In addition Justin will be heading out more Open Book Tour dates in September. I highly recommend getting yourself to one of the dates and get your tickets early, because they will sell out!
We are hoping to catch Justin on his San Francisco date at The Chapel which is the perfectly exquisite setting for such a magical night.
